Type "U" Ram BOP

 

Features:

1)  The pressure-containing part of the BOP: body, bonnet, ram, etc.are made of furnace refined steel,which can strictly control the hazardous chemical constituents and non-metallic inclusions. The part is forged, compact and defect-free, and has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and good low temperature impact toughness after heat treatment. 

2)  The ram cavity adopts an oval structure, which greatly reduces the stress of the body and improves the bearing performance of the body. 

3) Open and close ram and bonnet assembly are hydraulically operated, and use the same hydraulic oil port. 

4)  All metallic materials that come in contact with well fuids shall meet the requirements of NACE MR 0175 for sour service. 

5)  The pipe ram incorporate a large reservior of packer rubber to ensure a reliable seal. 

6)  Blind shear ram can shear drill pipe and realize reliable sealing.
