Product Description:
Mud Line Gate Valves conform to AP-I flange dimensions and pressure ratings. They are designed to deliver reliable performance in high-pressure systems, particularly in pump and standpipe manifold applications.
The valve seats ensure positive, tight shut-off with every closing cycle, even after prolonged exposure to abrasive and erosive drilling fluids. Twin metal wear inserts, encapsulated in elastomer, form a cylindrical plug consisting of a gate slot and two flow ports. Once closed, line pressure forces the gate firmly against the downstream port seals, with sealing performance tested up to 7,500 psi.
For the 4 in. 5000 PSI WP and 5 x 4 in. 7500 PSI WP models, a transparent stem cover is included to protect and visibly indicate the gate's open/close position. All sizes feature self-adjusting stem packing for enhanced durability and reduced maintenance.
